The existence of Medinat Israel is the best guarantee for the continuity, strengthening and development of the Jewish people.
In Israel was born the exemplary national creation, which serves as the historical, cultural and religious foundation for our people – the Tanach. Only in Israel is the process of acrisolating the scattered tribes of our people possible, and only here does our national language, Ivrit (the Hebrew language), flourish and develop. We are witnesses to the existence of various positions regarding Zionism.
Our Tnua encourages all types of Zionist activity, but it is necessary to make a value differentiation. The fact of recognizing Israel as the center of all Jewish experience is important. So are activities of all kinds aimed at strengthening Jewish identity, economic support, the dissemination of ivrit and leadership in the communities. But the realization of Shivat Tzion (the return to Zion) is above all priorities and must be the main objective of our Zionist activity in every corner of the world.
That is why we consider the Aliyah to Israel, as the broadest and deepest material expression of Judaism and Zionism.
Even so, it is important to mention that Hanoar Hatzioni adapts the educational means to the different prevailing conditions, developing new pedagogical initiatives that include a wide range of options, such as activities in moadonim, community centers and/or schools.
The hachshara iunit (theoretical preparation) of our chaverim, fostered by means of local, continental and world seminars, is indispensable for them to be able to assume the responsibilities that the future holds for them. This preparation is what provides the chaverim with the ideological foundations, which after being received, understood and questioned, are translated into elements worthy of identification and, therefore, the basis of their actions and attitudes.
The educational process tnuati provides the chanich with spaces and opportunities that allow them to obtain personal and group experiences in which they acquire codes of democratic conduct. Our youth movement induces us to learn through javaia (experience) and self-experimentation. Of these, the Israeli chavaia (living in Israel) is the most intense and positive. Participation in the Israel sojourn plans is one of the most effective means that Tnua uses to deliver its message.
