Liberal Humanism
As a liberal humanist youth movement, we celebrate personal freedom, autonomy and the potential of each person to grow, learn and contribute to their environment in a meaningful way.
Our faith in human beings, in their ability to train themselves, to correct and improve their path, together with our deep conviction regarding the scale of values of Tnua, are the factors that, in our opinion, give us the right to educate.

Based on this fundamental principle, since October 7, 2023, Hanoar Hatzioni in Israel has responded with commitment and solidarity to the challenges arising from the war situation. From the outset, the Tnua quickly mobilized to provide security and containment to the groups of chanijim in Israel, as well as support to the affected communities, including our beloved Kibbutz Ein HaShlosha. In addition, the different kvutzot, tzvatim and bogrim actively participated in volunteer work, trying to contribute in as many areas as possible.
In parallel, for our bogrim and bogrot of Bama, psychological accompaniment programs were developed for those who faced traumatic situations, fostering resilience and emotional strengthening. On the internal front, Hanoar Hatzioni organized support campaigns for chayalot and bodedim chayalim active in the security forces and promoted awareness campaigns in the Diaspora, strengthening the bond between the kenim and the communities with Israel. These initiatives not only responded to immediate needs, but also reaffirmed the values of brotherhood, solidarity and mutual responsibility that the movement has always promoted. Likewise, Tnua has been present in demanding the release of abductees in Gaza, through awareness campaigns, educational activities both in Israel and in the Diaspora, and the constant accompaniment of family and friends who, unfortunately, are still waiting for the return of their loved ones at home.

This period not only tested Hanoar Hatzioni’s commitment to its educational and social mission, but also highlighted its ability to act as a bridge between Jewish communities around the world. Through every action, the movement reaffirmed its role as a pillar of Zionism, strengthening Jewish identity and the spirit of unity even in the most challenging times.
